Will AI get a boost from the Federal Government?

A totally speculative thought here…if he follows through on his campaign promises, President-elect Donald Trump will bring on Elon Musk to run the Department of Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E.), the name of which is a play on Elon’s Dogecoin.

Given Musk owns Grok, the ChatGPT competitor, he’s a proponent of AI, and AI can be an efficiency accelerator, the questions are, “how much will AI be used to supercharge government efficiency?” and, “will that help accelerate the adoption of AI more broadly in the U.S. and perhaps beyond?”

It’s way too early to tell but it will be interesting to watch what happens.
